Back when I first started out in 3D, It was this guys work that kept my interest in 3D. A great Character and Vehicle modeler and animator. He has authored some great books on the field (I eagerly await his new book on Silo), and is almost always giving something back to the design community.

Glen Southern – @southerngfx – http://www.southerngfx.co.uk

Mind-Bogglingly Good 3D artist and sculptor. He is the man behind several ventures to improving the field and helping those new to 3D. Be sure to check out the tutorials on his site as well as on the Silo forum and subdivisionmodeling.com

Dave Davidson – @max3ddotorg – http://www.max3d.org

Absolutely amazing modeler and renderer, photo realistic is his middle name. He gives loads back and is always willing to help out. Be sure to check out his blog http://renderpimp.blogspot.com/ for some awesome tutorials and freebies.

Great digital painter and founder of idrawgirls.com. Check him out for great tutorials!

Make sure that you follow Chris for some awesome tips and tutorials on good web design, as well as tips and tutorials on Illustrator. His tutorials often serve as a excellent source of inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.

3D generalist, produces some really awesome work and equally as awesome tweets.

Okay, I think that’s it for now… This is by no means the be-all and end-all of peeps to follow on Twitter, this isn’t even all my favorites. There is some amazing talent out there and the only way to find it is to look.
